Terms of Service
Effective date: July 23, 2026 · Liberty Lake Backflow
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites operated by Liberty Lake Backflow (including libertylakebackflow.com, cdabackflow.com, postfallsbackflow.com, and related pages) and the residential backflow testing and related services we provide (collectively, the "Services").
By booking a test, submitting a request, calling or texting us, or using our websites, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
These Terms are a practical business agreement for a local service company. They are not a substitute for advice from your own attorney. We may update them; the "Effective date" above will change when we do.
2. Who we are
Business name: Liberty Lake Backflow.
Contact: 509-352-7267 · hello@libertylakebackflow.com · libertylakebackflow.com.
We provide certified residential backflow prevention assembly testing and related compliance help primarily in Eastern Washington and North Idaho (including Liberty Lake, Spokane, Spokane Valley, Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, and nearby communities).
3. Services we offer
Our core Service is on-site testing of residential backflow prevention assemblies (for example irrigation PVBs and similar devices), delivery of test results/certificates where applicable, and reasonable assistance filing or providing reports required by your water purveyor or district.
Unless we agree in writing, we do not guarantee that we will install, repair, or replace assemblies. If a device fails a test, we will explain the result and options. You may hire us (if we offer repair) or another contractor for repairs, then retest as required.
We may decline work outside our service area, that requires equipment or licenses we do not hold, that is unsafe to access, or that is commercial/fire-protection work outside our residential scope unless we expressly accept it.
4. Booking and scheduling
You may request service online, by phone, text, or email. A request is not a confirmed appointment until we accept it and confirm with you (typically by text or call).
You agree to provide accurate service address, contact information, access instructions, and any known details about the assembly location. Locked gates, dogs, or indoor devices may require you to be present or to arrange access.
We may reschedule due to weather, traffic, equipment issues, emergency work, or incomplete access. If we must cancel, we will attempt to notify you promptly and reschedule.
5. Pricing and payment
Standard residential single-device testing is advertised from $45 in our core service area when scheduled 7+ days out. Same-week service (within 7 days, not same-day) is 50% more; same-day service is double. Multi-device properties, commercial sites, after-hours, locked-access, or out-of-area visits may be quoted separately before work.
Unless stated otherwise, you are not charged until the test (or agreed service) is completed. Payment is typically collected after service via a secure link (for example text-to-pay), card, or other method we support.
Prices do not include taxes if applicable. Failed assemblies, retests after third-party repairs, and return trips caused by lack of access may incur additional charges disclosed in advance when practical.
Unpaid balances may be sent to collections after reasonable notice. You are responsible for payment for completed work ordered by you or someone appearing to have authority at the property.
6. Your responsibilities
Ensure we can safely access the assembly (water on as required for testing, path clear, animals secured, and someone available if the device is indoors or behind a locked area).
Comply with your water purveyor’s deadlines and requirements. We help with reports when required, but you remain responsible for overall compliance with district or city rules.
Do not misuse the website (no scraping that harms the service, no fraudulent bookings, no attempts to disrupt systems).
7. Results, certificates, and third parties
Test results reflect the condition of the assembly at the time of testing using industry-standard methods. Assemblies can fail later due to age, freeze damage, debris, or improper operation.
We may submit or help submit passing reports to water districts or cities when that is part of the Service. Those entities control their own portals, deadlines, and policies; we are not responsible for their systems or for fines they assess if you booked too late or provided incorrect account information.
Third-party tools (scheduling CRM, payments, maps, SMS, email) may process data as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Warranties and disclaimers
We perform services in a professional manner consistent with industry practice for residential backflow testing. Except as required by law, services and the website are provided "as is."
We do not warrant uninterrupted website availability, that online booking will always succeed, or that any particular water district will accept a report without further action by you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Services or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim (or $100 if no payment was made).
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, water shutoff fines assessed by others, property damage from pre-existing plumbing conditions, or delays caused by you, third parties, or events beyond our reasonable control—except to the extent liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Services, inaccurate information you provide, unsafe property conditions you failed to disclose, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law—except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
11. Website and intellectual property
Website content, branding, and logos are owned by Liberty Lake Backflow or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without permission.
You may link to our public pages in a fair, non-misleading way.
12. Communications
By providing a phone number or email, you consent to transactional communications about your booking (confirmations, day-of updates, invoices, compliance paperwork). Marketing texts or emails, if any, will follow applicable consent rules and include opt-out where required.
Primary phone: 509-352-7267. Email: hello@libertylakebackflow.com.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where Idaho consumer or service laws mandatorily apply to work performed in Idaho.
Venue for disputes will be in the state or federal courts located in Spokane County, Washington, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for future services. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
